Storytelling prompts – words

Use this resource with the Explore the story and Friends like us lessons from our Australia topic.

These How the platypus got his shape prompts come with keywords from the story and are the perfect accompaniment to your storytelling lessons.

Children can also use them working in pairs or groups to help them stay on track with their storytelling. The keywords give an extra aide-memoire for children at the beginning of their reading journey. You can also print out the images and laminate them and use them for sequencing activities.

(Printed copies are available to buy in our shop.)
