Our story A Thumping Great Rabbit shows how it’s good to be different and can lead to some valuable speaking and listening activities with links to PSHE.
A Thumping Great Rabbit is a charming woodland tale of a bunny with a noisy hobby. Rabbit is never happier than when he’s drumming – thumping his feet on the ground and on the trees to create different tones, beats and rhythms. Sadly for Rabbit, not everyone in the wood appreciates his one-man band. Badger and Hedgehog want to sleep; Owl scolds Rabbit for making the leaves fall from the tree and Fox complains that he can’t concentrate on his task with all the noise.
