The expanse of beach described in Tao and the Kingdom of Pearls sounds idyllic. Who wouldn’t want to live there? Golden sands, tiny fishing boats pulled high onto the beach and rolling waves crashing onto the shore, not to mention the wildlife.... it certainly gives a romantic view of life by the sea.
