Develop children’s understanding of the pirates in Ferdinand Forest and the pirate pickle. Explain to the children that they will not find all the answers in the story – sometimes they will have to use their imaginations and make guesses based on what they know about the characters.

There are four crew profile sheets and a blank profile sheet for children to create profiles for other characters in the story. There is also a completely blank profile sheet which will allow you to create your own pirates.
