A home for a giant

Challenge the children to design and make a warm, cosy house for our sleepy, sneezy Ice Giant.

Once you have read the children The Christmas Wish story, talk to them about where they think the various characters in the story live. You will need to fire the children’s imaginations and get them thinking creatively about what type of house the various characters might live in. What might the Ice Giant’s house look like? Would it be a palace, a castle or an ultra-modern house? How tall might the giant be? So, how big would his house have to be? (Estimating is fine!)
